Champions League Action!!

The CL2015 season kicked off today, and one of the top games featured the Belgrade Vukovi vs the Ljubljana Silverhawks. Ljubljana was lead into battle by quarterback Clark Evans, Evans and the Hawks came out strong going up 14-0 with touchdown passes to Rok Sedej and Matic Tomse. By halftime Belgrade QB David Hanomihl got his team back in the fight going in to the locker rooms 14-13. Clark came out on the first drive after the half and hit Copot for a 85 yd score. All that did was fire Belgrade up for the next possession where quarterback David Hanomihl caught fire and linked up with our player of the game Ant Washington who ended the day with 3 receiving touchdowns 63 yes being his longest reception.

Belgrade 26- Ljubljana 24

The Madrid Osos Rivas seemed to be no match for the Aix Argonauts. The Rivas held their own throughout the first half but was no match for Russell and the Argonauts. Russell the quarterback of the Argonauts ended his day with 3 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing.

Aix 47- Osos14

Many of us thought the Copenhagen Towers would put on a better show but the Crusaders of Carlstad had different plans. Crusaders quarterback Anders Hermodsson had a career day throwing for 2 touchdowns and rushing for 3!!. The only touchdown for the Towers came from an INT return from Magnus Alexender.

Copenhagen 9- Carlstad34
